Experiments in Tangible Geometry... & other things

      ( 1:00 AM ) Jayme
knit another inch and a half of sock while hanging out with the girls.

i was thinking the other day, while at the new local anime store, that knitting is a lot like model building. the more money it costs you, the more work you have to put into it and the more control you have over how the finished project looks. perfect grade and master grade are like cabled or lacy sweaters and plain stockinette sweaters. then there's custom grade -- which is kinda like carding and spinning the wool to make the yarn to make the aran sweater. it's all a labor of love.

time for bed, so i can wake up early to go to church and get on the road back to school. night all!

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
