aaaand they're back...
the hives, that is. but i've resisted the urge to restart the steroids. it's minor itching on my legs and back, but it's darned uncomfortable. the hurting when i swallow may be something from my boss, but i have no idea why my arms ache when i try to raise them. tried wearing jeans to classes today. after classes, i was good and read 5 chapters for anthropology. so knitting would be good, but didn't make too much of an effort to get a ride. oh well.

clapotis update
i have twelve of thirteen stitches dropped in the straight section. the end is near! i am concerned that i don't have enough yarn to finish. when i first got my order from handpaintedyarn.com, it didn't look like enough yardage. phooey.

knitting with friends
spent lots of time the past two weeks or so with fellow knitters. so much fun, and definitely a distraction from the itching. went to a birthday party for suzanne and met her family and friends. lots and lots of fun.

aran-along
i am participating. it'll (hopefully) get me to finish rogue. i have two sleeves done and am working on the body. actually, it looks just like the pictures of a few entries ago.

so i think i'll go back to resting the arms (really, what did i do?) and have some soup later. hope everyone's having a great night!

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
