Experiments in Tangible Geometry... & other things

      ( 10:45 AM ) Jayme
there's a mariah-along starting in february 2005.

i played with some burgundy, lavender, and white silk last night. results aren't what i was really hoping for, but the white tussah silk was so so yummy! it flies away and got all over my black shirt last night. the dyed lavender and dyed burgundy are really hard to draft! i'm tempted to cut it into pieces and then see if i can fluff it up afterwards. i should post pictures so you guys can give me your opinion. the burgundy and lavender look pretty together, but you can hardly see the lavender when next to the white... i guess i'll spin up two batches of silk -- burgundy and white (soft, creamy white, not harsh bright ingeo white), and lavender and white (the lavender looks kind of like highlights when the burgundy isn't around).

lori's visiting this weekend, so not much time for knitting. the spinning last night was during karaoke revolution. oh! hey chaun, i work afternoons this monday and tuesday, at least. maybe i can make my way over for coffee sometime!

saturday morning cartoons are really starting to disappoint me. it's too bad; i like waking up at the usual time, turning on cartoons and knitting/spinning/crocheting.

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
