tuesday night blogging

at work, again. i wonder if i should look into a digital camera that i can take to work. or just take pictures and upload them before work. working on rogue and the flower basket shawl. just started the upper chart of the flower basket shawl and am a couple inches past the turning row on the body of rogue. leaving for san diego tomorrow morning. maybe i'll knit more on rogue then. or i could start something new. ("and now for something completely different.") like semi-matching christmas stockings from the knitting pattern a day calendar (didn't really buy it for the calendar). i've got cascade 220 in christmas red, christmas green and white (their names, at least in stitches' names for them). i figure i can make one for each sister and one for me. stockinette in the round is more mindless than cables and lace. who knows. in any case, the film studies class is cancelled today, the italian cinema class is watching a horror film right now, and i don't know if the french class is coming in tonight. i feel like i should hold knitting mini-meet-ups in here on tuesday evenings. meh. maybe i'll see what pictures i have uploaded and post one. we'll see.

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
