Experiments in Tangible Geometry... & other things

      ( 4:56 PM ) Jayme
things like this make me feel (as my roommate nicole would put it) "like a rock star!" i'm glad that thuy got her yarn, since i made it 'specially for her. but hey, i like doing things for other people (just take a look at my knitting). it gives me warm fuzzies, the kind that make me forget about the hole in my heel that just happens to be the size of a certain metal US 2 circular that i own. (i really really need to stop doing that.)

i have permission to close up the office early, which gives me time to go pick up the new glasses, that i actually didn't need to buy yet... forgot the current pair is only a year old, instead of two. oh well, i like these new frames anyway. at least, i think i did. i tried on the store pairs without my contacts in, so all i saw was fuzzy objects. then more karaoke revolution 2 (heh, rock stars, we're all rock stars). then pilates. maybe some dinner, then java station! i saw nika on the bus last week, but i was so out of it from the heat that i couldn't remember that i met people last monday! hey, three new people plus all the regulars should make for a fun evening. and i don't have to worry about school (right now)! just working all the time til i go home for the weekend, then work all the time until instruction begins and then class and work forever and ever.

i wonder if i should bring my spinning again. maybe i'll catch laura this time. hmmm... besides, i still have 3 colors to spin up before i can ply what on the current bobbin. i'm not working on anything big, so maybe i will. probably won't get started at as much as i did at mojo coffee last monday (darn java station people, closing early on labor day).

eep! going to finish up the last of these delivery orders and then start closing!

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
