a few things...

if you are a java station knitter, go here or here and see what's up.

sadly, muddy waters is farther away from me, so i'm not sure how often i'll be able to go. in case i don't show tonight, here's the new stuff from solvang:

the stuff on the left is 14 ply wool pak that is going to become this. and on the right is a skein of mango moon recycled silk that i got solely because it's pretty.

and here's what i've been spinning lately:

that's the merino/angora blend that i'm trying to spin as fine as possible. the other yarn is a strand of the wool pak (which is bulky) for comparison.

oh, and thuy got her package! yay! i sent a hank of spindle spun black blue-faced leicester, which is really a pretty brown.

off to day three of fall quarter... bleh.

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
