Wednesday, September 22, 2004 ( 3:46 PM ) Jayme feel like taking a sick day. except i don't get to do things like that as a student employee. major headache, among other things. lots of data entry. can't leave, must close. scheduled to work lots during the quarter. let's hope i stay sane. at the very least, classes start tomorrow and i can have regular knitting time again. have i mentioned how much i love hanging out with the java station knit group? it's so much fun, and the new people that show up are great too. i tend to lose track of time there. some of the ladies want me to bring my wheel back... hmm... and i need to take a picture of the spinning i've been doing with it. nothing new since i showed it around on monday, but pictures for comparison are always good. that reminds me, i hope that suzanne has time to stop by today. i'm looking forward to reading over the pattern. went to michael's yesterday and saw the new yarns they carry. bought some acrylic in my old high school colors to make the world's ugliest scarf for my sister. well, maybe not the world's ugliest, but still, it's orange and black for goodness' sake. i went through 4 years of high school surrounded by those colors and they still haunt our house... that's what we get with a family of 3 girls, born evenly spaced. me, then three years later my sister, then three years later my younger sister. of course this school spirit thing is magnified when the younger two are involved with sports and ASB. they (junior varsity) lettered in tennis and track and field, became ASB vice presidents... i got a varsity letter... in DRAMA! karaoke revolution vol. 1 is harder that vol. 2. but it's got "it's the end of the world as we know it." i should go back and resize the picture of optimus prime and maybe put him in the side bar. it's making this column really wide. i want to knit so many things that i don't have. darn project envy. and lack of money. i think my secret santa wish list is going to be fiber themed to confuse whoever draws my name. most people back home buy each other video games... ooh, but kingdom hearts: chain of memories will be out then... meh, last time, i put a bosworth spindle on there and i got it! it's my favorite one. working on my fiber related posting. trying to find all the links i used to go through when a had a bit of disposable income. i think i've wasted enough time, back to the data entry! # |
