Experiments in Tangible Geometry... & other things

The Friday Five!

i've always wanted to do one of these... and i'm kinda answering about both my blogs since i don't have time to double post today.

1. Explain why you started to journal/blog. i wanted some way to keep track of fibery pursuits, especially when i get all excited about them, since not everyone shares my enthusiasm.

2. Do people you interact with day to day or family members know about your journal/blog? Why or why not? my other blog was my way to let friends at home see what my life was like when i'm not there and they do the same... it's how we keep in touch. as for this blog, not really. it's kinda my own work in progress about my works in progress.

3. Do you have a theme for your journal/blog? well, i was only a knitter, crocheter, cross stitcher when i started this so tangible geometry came to mind, especially since that's how i explained knitting to a similarly analytically minded friend. the other blog is for musing and complaining.

4. What direction would you like to have your journal/blog go in over the next year? more finished things and works in mind mentioned, maybe i'll figure out how to get pictures hosted on the webspace i get from the school so that the pictures will actually show up here instead of directing visitors to my picturetrail albums. perhaps more regular updating, turning it into a habit. my tangible knitting notes tend to get scattered so maybe i'll keep them here.

5. Pimp five of your favorite journals/blogs. also known as people i'm in awe of: Wendy knits, Mama Kate, ChicKnits, Ivete, and Bagatell. there are lots more, but they only want five... planning on putting more links in the side bar as soon as i figure out the template.

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
