whoops... lack of posting... eh...

annny blatt tank top on hold... should probably buy a 10.5 circ for it... then again, if i'm going to do that, might as well frog what little i've got and just start over in the round. half the stitches wouldn't fit on my straights anyway.

the handpaint is also on hold... too pretty to commit it to something right now... either a scarf i can only use sometimes, or maybe a purse i can use more often? hmm...

frogged purple armwarmers... bought another ball in same color to make it a scarf for me or someone at home.

still working on my first pair of socks. worked half of the second sock in one day. finishing up the gusset as i read knitblogs. really wanting to finish them so i can wear them and start on the cherry tree hill supersock my boyfriend got me. soooooo soft. unfortunately, my rapid sock progress will be slightly hindered by two things: the pain in my foot and the slightly snapped bamboo dpn that stabbed it. i taped the needle so i can still use it until i can go buy another set of 3's, but i had to miss hula practice because of my bleeding foot. apparently i didn't miss much but i still feel awful for missing it.

reeeeeeeeeally want to learn to spin... keep looking at stuff online and thinking *i want i want i want*... heh... maybe i'll make it a present to myself for my birthday or christmas...

stumbled across a fantastic fiber voyage starting with la jolla! feels almost like being home... hmm... maybe i can finally visit some yarn stores in san diego county when i go home for break. escondido doesn't really have any, so i just bring projects home.work on them while everyone borrows my car. maybe i can do a similar tour with santa barbara.

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
