wow it's been a while... i know the knit bloggers ring has its participants write at least once a week... dunno if i have time for that... oh well...

ripped out what would have been the kitty headband... think i'll use the yarn for cuffs/armwarmers. was trying to teach myself to knit with 2 circular needles. wasn't working. i guess i'll have to pick up a set of dpns at the lys. i lke dpns. i can stop just about anywhere.

been working an the hat from the baby lace set in homespun, handknit. didn't have the right size needles or yarn, so it's like a child-sized (or mom-sized) hat. the pattern is beautiful and not too hard. wish i had remembered how to end the hat... i borrowed the book from the public library at home.

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
