hehe, on the 21st i came home to my fair isle yarn, a message from the doctor's office i applied to and lunch basically already made. good stuff, considering i had to stay at work for two more hours. so i ate, browsed through the shade card. i'd make a shawl to go with my bridesmaid dress if the wedding wasn't next month. went and interviewed with dr. brewer. he's pretty nice. then went to metro entertainment and actually saw stuff i wanted!!

i knit at work yesterday. when it was slow at the register, when i was covering for kelly in fabric. just the purple merino. it's really nice to work with. a customer thought it was great that i knit the mini socks on my apron. lots of knitting customers today, leading to knitting conversations.

been working on my fair isle swatch. the yarn is TINY!! i don't have size three needles except the ones i'm using for my sock. i think for lack of needing a 100% wool sweater in san diego and santa barbara, i'm going to make a fair isle purse using the pattern that wendy designed. so i need to figure out how to design the purse and incorporate the pattern.

need to pack up my stuff today and tomorrow. ugh.

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
