ok, so my midterms are done, so i have papers to write... and finals in two weeks... eesh. but my halter is done!! i finished it last night at around 3 am. (i was up til around 4 am.) just need to block. my first FO to block. hope this goes ok...

went to the renaissance faire yesterday with chris, cc, and mat. small faire. my first. still fun. bought garb!! oh my gosh, talk about impulse spending. bodice, chemise and skirt for about $180. and they're pretty! i'm weird enough to wear the pieces other times of the year, so it's not too bad. plus cc said her ensemble was around $300. i've been denying myself lots of neato stuff for a while, so maybe i deserve it? i mean 2/3 of my midterms came back Bs so i needed a reward. besides, it was hot there and i couldnt stand wearing jeans for much longer.

and i did the math. i still have about enough money to get me through the summer here in SB. and i'm sposed to find a job... so once i get a job i can (hopefully) order yarn and start (belatedly) on the fearless fair isle sweater that is sooooooo pretty.

well, i should eat brunch and block the halter and work on my music paper.

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
