Experiments in Tangible Geometry... & other things

drivng home took exactly 4 hours. i let chris drive so i got to knit on the way home... got a couple inches done on the halter; i wonder if i have enough to finish it. seems like i'll need a new ball just to make the cord.

home was hectic and busy. lots of things to do and errands to run. still squeezed some knitting in each evening and morning and about an hour at the hair stylist's while waiting for my sister. the debutante ball was beautiful and the music was good, wish i could have stayed longer.

drive back was interesting. we left a bit late, but i drove back in about 3 hours. pretty tiring.

been busy getting ready for midterms, since they decided to put them all in a row. after those i'll have papers to write and finals to take. yay. almost done with first ball of yarn on the halter (shetha's manos del uruguay halter pattern -- but i had different gauge yarn to use so i messed with it using the knitter's companion program). it's an experiment! just like most of my knitting.

got rowan #31 yesterday. it's so beautiful. it should keep my imagination occupied for a while. hehe.

well back to studying. wish me luck.

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to
live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
